Local stays
Here are a few nearby hotels to consider. There are also plenty of lovely Airbnb options in and around Ilfracombe — a charming town in Devon where the venue is located! If you’d rather stay a bit farther away, that’s totally fine too — just be sure to allow a bit of extra time to get to the venue! We will be providing transportation to the venue from a central location. More details will follow soon! Below is a nearby hotel for your convenience.

When should I book my travel & accommodation?
If you’re planning to join us, we recommend booking your travel and accommodation as early as possible for the best rates. Please note that on-site accommodations are limited!
Flight Tips
Major Airports: Fly into London Heathrow (LHR) or London Gatwick (LGW) — both have frequent direct flights from major cities like NYC, Boston, D.C., and Philadelphia.
Flight Time: Typically 6–7 hours nonstop.
Tip: Overnight “red-eye” flights are common and let you arrive in the morning — great for getting an early start in London.
From London to North Devon
By Train:
Take the train from London Paddington to Barnstaple (usually with a change at Exeter St Davids).
Total journey: ~4.5–5.5 hours.
Book tickets early on National Rail or Trainline for the best fares.
By Car:
Renting a car? It’s about a 4.5–5 hour drive from London to Ilfracombe or surrounding areas.
Driving in the UK is on the left side, so keep that in mind!
Scenic route tip: Take your time and stop in a few countryside villages or coastal spots along the way.
By Coach/Bus:
National Express runs affordable coaches to Barnstaple and other towns in North Devon.
Slower but budget-friendly.
Travel Tips
Currency: The UK uses British Pounds (GBP). Contactless cards work almost everywhere.
Adapters: You’ll need a Type G power adapter for UK plugs.
WiFi/Phone: Consider an international phone plan or eSIM. Most cafes/hotels offer free WiFi.
Packing: Even in July, North Devon can be breezy — pack layers and comfy shoes for coastal walks!
Are kids allowed at the wedding?
Unless your little ones are specifically named on the invitation, we kindly ask that our wedding be a celebration just for the grown-ups — we hope you enjoy a well-deserved night off!
Can I bring a guest?
We’re keeping things intimate, so only those listed on your invitation are invited. We can’t wait to celebrate with our friends and family!
